Psychiatric Services
Psychiatric services, are available to eligible adults with mental illness who are Blue Earth County residents.
SCCBI Psychiatric Hub services are also available to eligible adults with serious & persistent mental illness (SPMI) from the 10-county South Central Community Based Initiative (SCCBI) region (Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault-Martin, Freeborn, Le Sueur, Nicollet, Rice, Sibley, Watonwan).
Services are available on-site or at county sites by Telehealth technology (ITV).

- Psychiatric Evaluation – Medical evaluation to identify an individual’s mental health diagnosis and their need for ongoing psychiatric and other mental health services
- Medication Management – Prescription of psychiatric medications and monitoring of individual response to medications
- Urgent Care Psychiatry – Psychiatric assessment and medication management appointments to address imminent mental health needs
- Psychiatric Nursing Services – Support and assistance for patients receiving psychiatric services. Includes vitals assessment, refill authorizations, screenings for tardive dyskinesia, medication set-ups and injections
- Print out and complete all areas on the Blue Earth County Mental Health Center Intake Form.
- Read through and keep a copy of the following documents

- Mental Health Client Bill of Rights
- Practice Disclosures
- Notice of Privacy Practices
- Assignment of Insurance Information and Benefits
- Authorization to Participate in Telemedicine Services
