Shelter Reservation Rules
1. A picnic shelter reservation system is available at Bray Park, Daly
Park, Duck Lake Park, Rapidan Dam Park and Williams Minneopa Park.
2. Picnic shelters (log cabins) are available on a first-come, first-serve
basis unless formally reserved through the parks office.
3. Reservations will be taken only at the park for which the reservation
is requested.
4. Reservations are made by phone or in person only.

* For Williams Minneopa Park and Rapidan Dam Park, shelter fees can be mailed to the Blue Earth County Highway Department at 75 Map Drive, Mankato, MN 56001.
5. Park personnel will take reservations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday
through Friday.
6. Visitors may not make shelter reservations prior to March 1 of the
current year.
7. A privilege fee of $30 is charged to each reservation. There is a $10 charge for nonprofit
youth groups.
8. The reservation and $30 fee must be received at the park at least
three weeks prior to the date of arrival. The fees may be paid at the
park in person or by mailing the fees to the park. The reservation fee
is refundable if cancellation is made one week prior to the date of
arrival. A written request must be submitted to receive a refund.
9. Before a check can be issued for refund, a written request must be
submitted to the park. The request should state the date the shelter
was to be reserved along with the name and address of the person who
paid the reservation fee.
10. Advance reservations will assure your use of the shelter on the date
desired.
